Since 2013 this program has been taking volunteers up to survey and control weeds in the alpine areas of Kosciusko National Park. The program initially focussed on surveying the walking tracks and service roads that provide the most common routes for dispersal of weeds in the alpine areas. The program will be continuing for the 2019-20 season taking a couple of teams of volunteers up every month looking to continue the weed control and surveying works. This is a continuation of the Alpine Weed detection program that NPWS have been in partnership with Greening Australia (GA) since 2013.
This program requires Volunteers and Accommodation.
